I started this website in the hopes of making planning and delivering Family Literacy Nights easier and more convenient.



My name is Angie Foster and I am a Reading Specialist in Anderson County, KY.  I have taught in the primary classroom for 9 years and I have been a Reading Specialist for the past 8 years.  Part of my position is to plan and host Family Literacy Events.  You will find this is one of my passions.

Family Literacy events should be fun as well as educational.  One thing I've learned over the past 8 years is that you have to get your families interested and in the door.  Once you have them there for this fun event, then you have a chance to empower your parents with skills, resources, and tips they can take back home and use with their children. 

Some of you may know me from RRCNA.  I have presented my family events for several years.  In the past, I have given out CD's for people to take back to their schools to use.  If you are like me, sometimes these things get misplaced or lost over time.  I've decided to make it easier (hopefully) and have put all of my free resources here instead.  I hope you find this helpful.  If you have any questions about anything, please send me an email and I will try and get back to you quickly.  Enjoy!!
